Queens Park Lake Restoration

Desilting of the lake at the historic Victorian Park has been recently completed for Crewe & Nantwich Borough Council.

The works involved the removal of around 8500m3 of silt from the lake and the restoration of the adjacent landscape areas. A temporary haul road and bailey bridge was carefully installed as a safe route for traffic and to avoid disturbance to the park. Long reach excavators were used successfully to complete the operation in a very ensitive and public facing location.
